Will be driving back from Rays game on the 21st, to Disney from Tampa/Trop Field. I found a great parking tip that there's free parking along 3rd avenue, a few blocks from the stadium signs say 2 hours up to 6pm, but if I come around 4 I should get a spot.

Anyway my question is: Coming back from the game it will be dark @ Night. I was thinking traffic might be heavy on the highway.

I was looking at routes and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions

From St Pete I would drive 3rd Ave S to 2nd St N, turn L on 2nd St N
to 13th St. - R on 13th then next left onto 3rd N. take 3rd up to 30th,
L on 30th then R onto 687/US 92-4th, follow this all the way up to 83rd,
R on 83rd, onto Patica/San Martin Blvd, to
Gandy Blvd Causeway - 60 E
Gandy Blvd 60 E to Crosstown Expressway (toll) $1.00
Take Cross town to 75 North
I-75 to 60 East to Brandon
L on County Line Rd to I-4 E
I-4 E to State road 532 / Championsgate
L on S. Old Lake Wilson Rd,
to Irlo Bronson Pkway
L on Irlo
R on Sherberth.to Silver Lake

---------------

This looks like the best route from the field to avoid traffic on googlemaps

Any other suggestions???

Take the same route back as you took getting to the game. The traffic will not be that heavy getting from parking to the interstate.

Yeah, your goal is to get from where you're parked onto northbound I-275. Accessing the ramps onto either I-175 or I-375 leads the short distance to I-275. Once on I-275, it's a pretty routine drive back through Tampa to I-4 and on to Disney.
