We are considering driving to WDW early November. Will be myself, my daughter and grandkids have ages 4 and 6. We plan to be crossing at the Bluewater Bridge early in the morning around 7 a.m. and prob stop around 6 p.m. or so with a couple short stops along the way. Are there any apps that calculate time it takes to get from one place to another rather than just miles? Anyone do the drive recently who can comment on total cost of gas? Any tips? Thanks 😊

google maps and waze gives you distance and time. Neither accounts for stops, so add those in. Not sure where bluewater is but we leave from just north of TO and takes with stops approx 22 to 24 hours driving straight with stops

Thanks I will check those out. (Bluewater Bridge is between Sarnia and Port Huron).

Agree with @mort1331 on using Maps/Waze for estimating time. I actually find Maps drive times to be very accurate including short stops since I drive a bit quicker than the speed they use to calculate. My stops even out my heavy foot.
For the Gas Mileage, try the 'Plan Your Trip' calculator on gasbuddy.com (only the website, not in the phone app). It allows you to calculate in Metric or Imperial and you can enter the specifics for your vehicle to automatically see the rated mileage and tank size. It will also show you the best places to stop for gas along your route as your tank nears empty based on current prices (so recalculate as you are leaving and a couple of times while driving).
I've done the drive from Eastern Ontario many times and find both tools to be very helpful for planning

Depending on how long you stop and your speed you might end up a couple hours north of Atlanta with that schedule. Still a fair bit of driving the next day. Take the Atlanta traffic into account for the next day if you are driving during the week. My parents have driven down to Florida for the past dozen years or so from near Windsor. They leave around 2:00 a.m. from Windsor to get thru Cincinnati before morning rush hour and Atlanta's afternoon rush hour. I did it with kids near that age and it worked well. Not an issue on the weekend.
