We have driven the past two times to WDW. We go 79,77,19,26,95 to I4.
It takes about 16 or 17 hours. If anyone knows a shorter route. Going through
West Virginia and Virginia takes so long. The rest of the trip we enjoy.

When we used to live in Toronto, we'd take that same route (once we got around Lakes Ontario & Erie, of course, and southbound!) It seems like that's the most convenient route from Pittsburgh to me. :confused3

Now that we've moved to Indiana, we've had to alter our route - we've only made one trip down to WDW since the move, and we now take 75 for the majority of the trip. While I love being able to use the "Along I-75" book (which really does make the trip seem so much shorter) I do sometimes miss the scenery that we all got to know so well along that old route.

The girls used to love going through the tunnels, and oh, the view southbound from Virginia into North Carolina! (The girls wondered why there were those "dirt roads" leading up the sides of the hills... I don't know if they really understood our explanation that they were for "runaway" trucks - we luckily never saw any in use, but I can surely appreciate the need!)

Sorry I can't help you out! But I did enjoy your route! :thumbsup2

Sandy (and Brian, Bonnie & Kellie, too!)
