Driving from NY? Should I book National one way??

We are driving to WDW in October for our 10 day BC/Wonder/Poly trip. Can anyone help with suggestions for renting a car? Should I rent from National b/c they are on WDW property (MK Car Care Center?. Does National accept a Disney Club discount? Are there any other convenient options besides National. Also, by the way- how long of a drive is it from NYC? Thanks for your help...

Average driving time would be about 22-24hrs.

National does have discounted rates for DC members. There are also coupons available that may apply if you will be renting an intermediate or full size car.

We plan to use National for our November trip primarily for the convenience. Prices after the DC discount are about the same or a little higher than Dollar (at least for minivans for our dates). In addition to the Car Car Center near the MK, National has a rental desk in the Dolphin Hotel. Since we are staying at BWV and do not need the van for our entire stay, the Dolphin location is very convenient for us. I think Dollar's WDW location is the Courtyard By Marriot Hotel in the Downtown Disney area.
