Driving from Germany

Has anyone made the trip from the Kaiserslautern area of Germany? How long did it take you?

It will take about 4 hours. If you are military, don't forget to gas up because other than the one Esso on A6 right before the border that's it. Tolls will cost about 20 euro each way. It is an easy drive, just 4 hours no matter how you slice it.

faaaaaaaaaaaaar better than from my little corner of Bavaria, which is about as far from Paris as one can get in Bavaria

In fact, I won't be making that drive in one shot - I know that Isma has made some long drives from Germany but four hours is about my limit.
