Driving from Daytona Beach, how long?

How long to get from Daytona Beach to WDW? It seems it should be an easy drive. Is getting into the world easy? Well marked? Mapquest is virtually no help. Thank you.

It really depends on the time of day...

In the morning is the worst... you will hit very heavy traffic from about Sanford FL on in through Orlando...sometimes traffic will creep along or worse if there is an accident. Allow 90 minutes or more.

All other times of the day, (as long as there are no accidents) traffic moves smoothly and the drive is about an hour.

Thank you so much! I was planning on getting on the road about 10:00am after checking out & eating some breakfast. I guess we should miss most of rush hour by then. I appreciate the information.
