Driving from ASMu to POR?

I'll be staying at ASMu during my next trip, and am considering having breakfast at Boatwright's, an old favorite. I've never had a car at WDW before, but figure it must be more convenient to drive than use the buses. My questions:

1. The route seems pretty straightforward: follow Buena Vista Drive to Bonnet Creek Road. Is it that simple, or are there hidden obstacles or better routes?

2. How long will it take to drive? This will help in coordinating my morning routine and making the PS.

It is just that simple. It should take less than 10 minutes. It about 4 miles to the turn at Bonnet Creek then about 1 mile to PORS (Dixie Landings)

Have a great trip, and by the way, that is one of favorites for breakfast also.
