My dd has always loved WS, but I think it is due to all there is to look at or shop for... oh, and eat.

I know my dh likes it...but gets a bit bored when I want to spend too much time in a shop. There are a couple rides so that can be something to look forward to and yes, the Kidcots... completing a mask was a highlight of the trip from my dd.
ha ha we are the opposite- I hate how long K spends in the stores when he finds antique looking things or tools or clothes shopping for himself! I honestly got to the point that I just don't go in with him, or I go while he's shopping- maybe at Disney I can sneak in some rides!
On our last trip, we did this too. We made sure to get something to taste at each country. It was fun and didn't have to be expensive since we either used a qs credit or snack...or bought a tiny piece of something. I think the egg roll I paid oop for in China was only a couple dollars...and that was the most expensive item (non alcohol) that I paid for. Try the yummy candy in france! Even though there are yummy pastries and sandwiches and crepes and oh...lets not forget the adult drinks.... the candy is pretty yummy too and gets overlooked.
The candy from each country sounds good for my DS and keep the wrappers to put in his passport book or something? Someone said that she went into each country with $10 and bought one thing from each one- in China I think that she bought a hand fan for $4 and they wrote her name in Chinese on it!
It is too bad we will not be there at that time or we would have to plan a dismeet! Since you will get there and be back before I leave for my trip you will have to take pictures and give a review. I am not sure if we are going to eat there or not... but also... I am a bit concerned that the activity level might be a bit much for my guys.
Well we will be back home on the 12th so I will have to take pictures! It would have been fun for a dismeet!
After having a big breakfast, I think eating around the world with snacks and sharing qs meals might be the way to go.
Can you do a character breakfast before the park opens for EMH? and be at the park that much earlier? I am not sure how these work. I just know I want to plan a meal before RD in each park. Yak and Yetti for Lunch is yummy...such big portions and flametree is good too.

As far as Boma or Jiko.. I have never been so I have no words of wisdom. And going to DTD... and it being late. I am a bad parent and often keep my young one up late on Disney trips.
I am not sure- I keep hearing that the earliest seating is at 8:05 am and I am doing the EMH in the morning- so I am not sure if they would have an earlier time, when I call for reservations I will ask and find out though because if that's the case we will do some before park opening!
I have been to both Cosmic Rays and Pecos Bills... both have the great condiment bar.

They get pretty packed though and so I have promised my dh that this trip we will not eat at either. This trip will be CHH for us. Liberty Tree is fun. We went when there was characters.... are there still? Tony's is a bit better food though. Probably one of the better "simple" steak offerings WDW has.
I am originally from TX and I'm not sure if you know what I am talking about but Fuddruckers has something that sounds similar to this and I miss that cheese at Fuddruckers!
Sunshine Seasons has so many choices. I would look over the menu so that you have an idea of what each person will want. It also can be packed so having an idea of what each person is going to want will help navigate through it. We like the food at Coral Reef. My dd loves the lobster bisque.. I think it is her favorite food in all of WDW. We have never been to Garden Grill, but from what I can tell it is a bit more comfort food oriented.
MMMM... I love lobster bisque too! Garden grille I was thinking for Chip and Dale, but talking with K I remembered that's why we are going to the sing a long! Good idea with sunshine seasons I am going to print off the list and put it in that day of the trip journal so we figure it out before getting to the stand! Thank you for that tip!
We did the FDP last trip. Honestly, I wasn't terribly impressed with the seats...but this is what I was impressed by. First... you get to have an appetizer with your meal. It really makes for a nice long... sit down meal. We ate our "dinner" at 3pm and we were not really hungry the rest of the day. (course...we ate until like 5pm) Second... we got to show up to Fantasmic a bit later. Not having to wait to get "okay" seats was a plus. We never wait so long to get great seats (wouldn't that be like a couple hours early?

) So letting us play a bit longer was a plus too. Now thinking about it though... I think we didnt play more just spent more time eating.
I hear a lot about that with the FDP seats! If you don't get it do you really have to get in line about 2 hours early for "good" seats? Because that alone (like you said) would be worth the not-so-good seats?!?! A boy on our team just got back from Disney and he was complaining about DHS and it only has 2 rides? So my son says he doesn't want to go there.... but they have the 2 rides he wants most (TOT and TSM)
Lots to pack into your last day. I think skipping NASA probably is a good idea. We tried that in 08 and got there very close to closing. It was a waste for us. Plus...the excuse to go back..
I think that I agree! I miht try to add the pirate cruise to the WS day though because WS doesn't open until 11am anyway and he's done by then and the hotel is walking distance from there!
