Posters say to "mix" family members' clothes among different suitcases in case any luggage is lost. Is this really just for folks who are flying in?
Do I really need to worry that the luggage is going to get lost from the sidewalk outside the terminal to my cabin?
Thanks
Melanie

I think it is extreemly rare that your luggage will get lost from the sidewalk to the stateroom. I guess its possible to have happened before but is rare. I think the comments were directed twards passengers who are flying.

Well, it has happened to me on both of our cruises. Everyone else's bags arrived before the safety drill. Mine didn't get there until 5:30 for our first cruise & some time when we were at dinner for the second. We had early seating both times. This year I am taking an outfit for dinner in my carryon. :) Eliminate the stress that way.

I would think you were pretty safe! I don't even bother packing clothes in a carry on since i don't want to have to carry it around with me....if the luggage doesn't get there by dinner time I just would go with what I had on and be fine with it LOL.
