Driving distances from Nashville or...

We are trying to see where we will stop for the night. We are leaving KC at 3:30pm and will hopefully stop in KY for the night about 9:30. Then the next day we should be able to drive straight through, right? It will be a long day but we are thinking 14 hours. I think it is an hour and a half to Nashville from our stopping in KY, so how long does it take from Nash? And does that time include the time change? We estimate we will arrive in Disney at 10pm. What do you all think?

Sonya- We are getting ready for the big drive this summer Also, We live in Sw Mo. Going to Destin fla, two days on the beach. The route I have been looking at has us going to Memphis then on to jackson miss, on to Destin. Destin to WDW. Going home we will be going WDW to Atlanta-Chattanooga-Nashville-Memphis on to SW Mo. We are going to St. Louis then south to KY, then through TN, turning east from Nashville, going through Georgia and Atlanta, then south to Orlando. If you are in SW MO it probably won't be good to go through St. Louis. But it sounds like we are going the way you are coming home!

It's about 10 - 11 hours from Nashville, not including the hour you lose crossing into EST. Try to avoid going through Atlanta at rush hour. Atlanta is about 4 hours from Nashville.

Nashville is notorious for road construction--depending on the time of day it could add a bit of drive time.

what part of Ky are you driving through and I'll see what other road info I can help with...
