Driving Directions

Where in AL are you coming from? North or South?
I go I-10 to I-75, South on 75 to FL turnpike. I get off before the I-4 exit because it scared the beejeebers out of me in 2003!! The exit off the turnpike I take says South Apopka-Vineland-535. Have a FL map with you and it takes about 15 - 20 minutes driving time, but you end up right outside the gates leading to Downtown Disney!! Way better than trying to navigate I-4 during rush hour (which seems to be most of the time!). I did this on my two trip last year and it worked like a charm. :thumbsup2

There is a new toll road expressway called 429...it comes off the Florida Turnpike and comes down to the Irlo Bronson (192) in Kisseemmee...We used it a couple weeks ago..and no cars on it hardly at all..it drops you off a couple miles from WDW..I am sure it will become the new way to the Kingdom! :firefight

Is there a link somewhere to SPECIFIC and detailed driving directions? I'll be coming from AL.
Hey! I'm from Alabama too. Not far from B'ham. We'll be there about the same time as you. We'll be at the POP. Have a great time!!!

I'm in GA and if you come from Atlanta you shouldn't have a problem if you're south on 75 to the FL turnpike and I4 then just follow the signs and you'll be fine.

If you take the FL turnpike to I4, remember to go to Tampa, not Orlando. You will be headed the wrong way if you go to Orlando.
