Driving back from WDW to NYC...

Hi all,

I know the popular more-than-halfway destination on the way down to WDW from NYC is Florence, SC. Does anyone know the equivalent stopping point for the trip back?

I would think it would be the DC / Delaware area.

I try not to drive to WDW, me and Delta are good friends.

Hi!

We drive every year from NJ and when driving home we stop overnight in Petersburg VA. I takes us about 12 hours to get there and then about 5-6 hours the next day to make it home. We always stay at the Days Inn there and even though I usually am not thrilled with Days Inn, this is a pretty nice one. The parking lot overnight has a lot of NY/NJ/CT/PA license plates.

Emporia, Va is 12 hours from WDW and 7 hours to New york.. We stayed at the Best Western and it was a nice place...
