Driving and parking at Port Canveral

Hi All - We have been on a few DCL vacations but have always used the car rental shuttle service to and from port. However, this time it is only a 3 day and we are hoping to maximize our departure by having the car ready for us to go right to a park up debarkation. Just checking to see how easy it is to navigate getting into the port and parking easily at the port entry doors so we are not lost? Also, at what time do they open the doors?

We have done 5 drives in PC port and 2 to Miami port. PC is a dream to drive and park at. Everything is labeled very well. You will enter and give your names and show id's then will be directed to drop off your bags at the porters. After that you will drive into the garage and you can go to the 3rd level which will allow you to walk over a bridge and into the port which has a security line which is usually significantly shorter than on the first floor. As for opening doors we usually arrive around 10:30-11am and have never been held up and are on the boat within 30-45 mins. Leaving is even easier now as that you pay before you park and simply drive right out following well marked directions.
