Drivers License Problems.

So. I'm 17. I got my driving permit when I was 15. And I still don't have my license yet. I had pneumonia, migraines, snowstorms, tonsil surgery, and such, so I guess I have a good reason to not have it yet.

But am I the only person in this position, or am I alone?

due to medical reasons and other personal reasons I could not get my license until I was 20 and I know of a few other people who did not get their licenses right at 16 so no you are not alone.

I should definitely have my license by now. I was just really timid with driving for a while. I'll be getting it soon. But you're definitely not alone.

different situation..same idea:

yah with my permit i was going to start my lessons right after my birthday but my mom had misunderstood the process and when i tried to tell her the real information things just got in the way and well i didnt get it tilll much later and it was so annoying to see all of my friends and classmates driving and i couldnt..but not it doesnt bother me..so in a way umm same idea = ) so dont worry it will eventually work out and your not alone

I'm actually on the way to getting mine June 29th (or thereabouts). I got my permit in December (right after my birthday). But I know that a lot of my friends (well, at least those old enough, many aren't) won't be getting theirs until MUCH later because they're just so scared of it. Hope you're medical problems hit the road! Wow, I'm so punny at night.

Special Liscense Ummm I think it's called a hardship license. I have to pick my gma up alot for dr.s appointments and what not. I also did great in drivers ed and passed the test with a 100...so....yeah...

You're not alone. I didn't get mine til was almost 18. My bro didn't get his til he was 18+.

Yeah, I have a problem with it. I just failed my test for the third time, hahah. I was on the last question too. urgh. I got my permit when I was fifteen, and one of my driver's ed classes wasn't credible so I had to go to another one, and then I had to wait three months for my certificate to come in the mail.

I'm 17 and am only getting my license next week. It took so long because my older brother crashed on his permit, and I guess my parents were scared I'd do the same thing. They put off letting drive until like a month ago. It was really annoying to because most of my friends are at least 3 years older than me, so they all drive, and are really getting tired of having to pick me up if we have to go anywhere. I feel your pain, and hope you can get your license soon.
