Yep, the girls loved the zoo But that zoo is definitely not flat! And the walk from the metro to the zoo was not flat either! I'm sore today, but the girls are fine. The baby panda was soo cute!

I've never been to that zoo but taken that its the National one I'll bet its quite huge. I saw a pic of the little darling on yahoo this morning. He is so adorable. Just like a little teddy bear!

I'm going back home to Columbus this weekend, so I'll probably not be on much. My grandpa turns 90 on sunday and we are having a little party for him. It'll be nice to see my family and friends again. I try to get back about every half year

And as for typing Monday instead of Mindy, you may have noticed some of my typos, writing a combination: Minday. I try to correct it when I notice it, but I have seen a couple times where I missed it.

Great thread Bonnie! It is so nice to read about your fellow DISers.Like you were born in Alaska! I have never known anyone from Alaska! Boy you're a LONG way from home. Does your family still live there?

Mindy, we only lived in AK until I was almost 2. We moved to Nevada and my parents are still there. (Well, my dad and his wife are, but my mom and her DH are in Idaho).
