Hey Jeanny, why no fireworks?!?!?!

well, the reason the town is giving everyone is: the high school field where they shoot the fireworks off was just reseeded and they don't want people on it...... which makes NO sense to most people because the area they use was switched over to a turf field almost a year ago. Everyone sits in the parking lot, on the streets and on the grass area. All they had to do is section off the one side area that was reseeded.

We think it was money issues, but the town won't admit that. There are other areas which would have been suitable, but the powers that be said no for one reason or another.

So off to another town we go to see the fireworks until next year!

I don't remember any offending posts on our thread. But I agree about just removing the offending posts and not the whole thread. When things got a little out of hand on another forum I go on, that's what they did. I am disappointed about the post count, too.

My question is...... how in the world do you manage to post 500 messages in one day? Am I thinking right? If her post count was in the 800's and *poof* now it's in the 300's.... that must have been some good threading.

We went to someone's house to watch the parade today and after they made hot dogs. Well, I don't like hot dogs, so I had to eat a bun. And lots of chips. And olives. And watermelon.

sense. I didn't realize that the original poof was a 10,000+ post thread. I can see how over a period of time you would get alot, especially if it were a thread such as this.


I wasn't being mean or anything just astonished and rather envious actually. Also, it was all I could do to read to keep up let alone post that many.

I hope Meshmar isn't gone.

We had a cookout tonight along with watermelon and then went to the fireworks along with the rest of the county. Happy 5th of July.
