Drivelosity

Good Afternoon, Drivelers! How are you? I got on this morning, but then I was busy all day, and just had a chance to get on again!

Hi Kalen! How are the kids today?

Denise, I'm such a dork! On that interview game I was thinking it was the Drivelosity thread, so I just posted like I do over here.

:rotfl: That just made my day! Oh goodness. I got your back, Bonnie. I just posted a responce and then a question. :) We have to be there to cover eachothers mistakes and embaressments sometimes! That's what us DISers are here for!

What did you do today?

Kids: Fighting, playing, fighting, playing..... nothing unusual.
They are fighting more than usual though. Not sure if it's the age DS 10 and DD 8 or the fact that we took DS off his ADD meds for the summer and he isn't as "mellow" as he used to be. :confused3
He is eating more than he used to which is why we took him off.

How are you all today?

Kalen- That's what my kids do. Play. Fight. Fight some more. I come break it up. Play for 10 more minutes. And fight. LOL

Hi Bonnie and Denise!! How are ya!

Kalen, Barley's actually has 2 locations. One in the brewery district (I think-or was it short north?) and one on Riverside dr. which is the one I went to most often. Kinda tucked away between radio stations and other businesses, but yummy all the same!

My day was a little on the sucky side. Had to take Ainslee to get her kindergarten shots, and we had to wait a LONG time. She was good though. When I went to pick up Brent at the train station (first time) I got totally lost! But I"m home now and it's all good.

Thanks for covering my faux paus. :thumbsup2

Kalen, I always want to spell your name K-A-E-L-A-N, that's how my friend spells her son's name. :) When does your DD turn 9? My DD just turned 9 last month. She'll be in 4th grade this year.

May I ask a resort ? without getting royally charred?

Hi Minty! :wave2:

Bonnie- I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have a very good day. Hopefully a dose of the DIS will turn your bad day into a good one.

Ask a resort question...

I read something earlier on the resort board and I don't quite see the problem in it... I'd like your opinions.....

was reading a pool hopping thread over on the resort board today.... we all know how that goes and I don't agree with it.
However.... on the thread there was a comment made about asking to see/sample food and drinks in Concierge to see if you'd want to pay the extra $$ for it.

Now here's my question.....

what's wrong with asking to "see" (not sample) the Concierge lounge while looking at a resort to see if you'd like what's there? I've never been and would hate to spend the extra $$ and immediately discover that I'd made a mistake. I can look at a pool and know if I'd like it or not. I don't have to swim in it to see. But if an area is off limits so to say.... why can't I look first? And I do mean just look?

Thanks.

Hmmm. . . .I've never even thought about that. I don't see anything wrong with it, as long as your not sampling their wares. Did you ask that on the thread and get flamed?

::yes:: I second that.

To be honest....
I am afraid. I am very afraid. Some of those people can be scary.

I learned early.... don't ask about: Pool hopping and room sharing, in room cooking and refillable resort mugs.
