Drive to parks from ASmu or take bus

We, (me, DD, DGDs 7+11) will be the staying at ASmu Nov 3-8. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using the busses to get to each park when staying at the All Stars? We will have a car, so all options are open to us.

We almost always drive to AK because the parking is so close.

I have also driven to MK...you park in lot then take monorail to the entrnce...I would definately take the bus here...

Never driven to MGM or Epcot...

Definitely take the bus to the MK, no question. If you drive you have to deal with the extra time of the monorail or ferry, while the bus drops you right outside MK.

We had a car when we were there last November (also stayed at the All Stars) and used it to drive to all the other parks. Typhoon Lagoon we had a front row space! If you get to the parks early, you can usually get a good space and the walk to the gates can be short. Other times, you are parked so far away that you need to hop on the tram to drive you from your space to the gates. Not a big deal, but you could have just taken the bus!

We are going back in December and considering not getting a rental car at all. I think the busses are that good.

Toystorymom hit it right on the head, and if you stay till park closing, with a car you avoid the crowded busses, but have the crowded trams and roads.

Indeed, dealing with the traffic at closing is a pain... I wish *I* could just sit back and let someone deal with it... but nooo... I have to deal with it for people... LOL
