How long will it take to drive form San Diego to DL? This trip will just be myhusband and I, kids are staying home with grandparents and since we just went with them to WDW and the Disney cruise I don't feel too guilty (actually not at all) and can't wait to experience DL with my husband.

It depends on traffic but you can figure about 1.5 hours of driving time.

just drove from Newport Beach to San Diego twice rountrip last week-
once to go to the zoo & the other day to visit Sea World-

I'd actually budget 2 hours -

Did the drive this past January, downtown San Diego to a pitstop at a hotel just outside the Disneyland entrance. 1 hour 50 minutes. We left San Diego late afternoon so you might be able to save a little time if you leave when traffic is lighter.
