Drive ourselves or take the Bus?

We want to try to be the "First Family Of The Day" at Magic Kingdom. Which would get us there earliest? And what time does each allow for us to get there? What time would you recommend? Yes we know we may not be picked but we would at least like to try. Thank you all in Advance.
