Drive or take Disney Transportation

I just booked the 8 am Keys to the Kingdom tour. I will be staying on property and am wondering what time disney buses start running. I've seen contradicting times (1 hr before park opens & also 6:30). Would it be better if I just drove to the park?

Buses start around 6:30.

Personally, I much prefer taking the bus.

You can always taxi or Uber.

We had a 7am booking for Chef Mickey's when the park opened at 9am so we went to reception to order a taxi (Pre-uber) and while I waited outside an MK bus turned up at 6.35am! Not only did we jump on it, he actually took us to the Contemporary entrance rather than MK bus stop. That was our first morning, and made our day.
