Drive or Disney transportation.....

We will be in Disney next weekend for my DD's 5th birthday!! The morning of her birthday we have ADR's at CRT for 9:30 and then we have the BBB scheduled for 12:30 for the both of us at DTD. My question is this: should we take Disney transportation and if so can you tell me just what I would need to do or do you think it would be easier to just go back to the hotel and drive to DTD since we will have our own vehicle? Is it difficult to get from Pop to DTD and is there a charge to park once there?

My suggestion would be to take Disney transportation to the MK. Then take the resort monorail to the Contemporary and the bus from there to DTD. This will be the fastest way to get there unless you want to drive to MK that morning and park at the TTC and then drive to DTD. There is no charge to park at DTD and if you are staying at the POP then you can park free at any theme park also. I think Disney transportation is easier and unless I plan on visiting more than 3 parks in one day I take Disney transportation rather than driving even though wee always have our car. I say to take a bus from the Contemporary because you can only take a bus from a resort hotel to DTD not from the parks and the Contemporary is the easiest hotel to get to from MK. Staying on Disney property or having a valid Disney ticket allows you to use any transportation from any point at the grounds (although you can't park at any hotel other than your own.)
