Drive or Bus to Disney Springs?

We will be going next month. We will be staying at AoA. We drive to WDW, so we have our own car. Last June, we drove everywhere except MK and Disney Springs...we took the bus according to the prevailing advice (and I am glad we did because Disney Springs was a mess).

Is this still the advice? Is bus still better to Disney Springs?

Hard to say.

On the one hand, both garages are open, and most of the road construction directly in front of DS is done (but the widening of Epcot Center Dr. and it's bridge over the road to DS still has a way to go.) So traffic should be much better, and it's easier to park.

On the other hand, the spacious new DS bus depot will be open next month, and buses will have a dedicated express lane between TL & DS, so using the bus also should be much less painful.

Maybe we will take the bus our first night at Disney Springs in case we want a pint at Raglan Road and see how much of a pain it is to bus it.
