Drive or Bus? EPCOT -> MGM

Hi all,

I'm trying to decide whether i should drive from EPCOT to MGM or take the park bus. It'll be a saturday (Oct 7th, to be exact), around 3.30pm - we've got an ADR at Hollywood & Vine for Fantasmic and will be in EPCOT during the day.

Any thoughts?

I would walk. I love the walk from Epcot to MGM. But I stay at BW so I'm partial to the area. It should take about 25 minutes if you are in the WS, anywhere close to the IG. If a boat is loading as you get to that point, then hop on. Otherwise, you'll spend an inordinate amount of time waiting for a boat to get there.

Why not try something different - take the boat. You can catch it just
outside of the International Gate it EPCOT and it takes about the same time as a bus - 25-30 minutes. Its much more relaxing, and something most people don,t know about.

I don't believe there is a bus that goes between Epcot and MGM since the Friendship boats handle that route. And as goofy4tink said, catch the boat if it's there - about a 1/2 hour ride. I find it's fastest to just walk.

We love the boats, so I would recommend that mode of transportation.

There is a bus from Epcot to MGM.

So if you're near the front of Epcot, the bus would be faster. Near IG, take the boat or walk. But the actual bus ride will be so much faster than the boat ride, I would take that into account as well if you're in a hurry.
