We'll be staying at Windsor Hills for our upcoming trip. We'll have a rental car. Two days we're at WDW we'll be hopping between 2 parks. Should we drive our car to HS in the morning and then drive to AK for our afternoon the first day or park at AK in the morning and take WDW transportation to HS and then back to AK? Which will be easier/faster...drive between parks or take WDW transportation? Thanks!

Transportation is way faster between MK and Epcot because of the Monorail, otherwise you could wait for a while. Check the transportation board you Will probably fond helpfull infos. ;)

O.k. well, actually addressing your question, it is almost always faster to drive from park to park, especially with DHS and AK. You might get really lucky and walk up to the bus stop right as a bus pulls up, but more likely you will get there and have to wait for a bus.

Generally, the earlier you arrive at DHS the closer you will be to the entrance, so you may not need to take the tram.

If it were me, I'd drive to DHS in the morning then over to AK in the afternoon when I wanted to go there.

For DHS and AK, I would drive. If you're paying to park, save your receipt and you can park at any park lot later in the day under the original fee.

Driving is much faster than taking the bus. I would park at DHS for the morning and then drive over to AK and park there for the rest of the day. You only have to pay for parking once a day so hold onto your receipt and show it at the gate at AK and you won't have to pay again.

And for us driving our car around is not worth the stress, we will drive to DTD on our departure day and leave from there.I'm sure it's much faster to drive than take the buses, but after all it is a vacation and you are saving money by taking buses. Disney isn't a true vacation for many in the sense...like setting alarms to rope drop. You just need to figure out if the juice is worth the squeeze.
