Drive/Bus time to parks from CSR and Windsor Hills

I am debating staying either onsite at CSR or offsite at Windsor Hills. One thing I want to consider is the time it takes for us to get to the parks. We will drive our car. We will be going back for naps and down time in the afternoon but return to the park in the evening. My question is, how long would it take for us to ride the bus to each of the parks from CSR and how long would it take for us to drive to each of the parks from Windsor Hills?

Thanks for your help!

I can't answer specifically your question but I can in general.

Most of the bus rides from any resort to the parks is anywhere from 15-25 minutes, depending on the distance. The thing to keep in mind is that it is a lot easier via Disney transportation to get to/from the parks when you want a mid-day break. We have done this many times.

If you drive back to a park later in the day the chances are you will be pretty far back in the lot. At the MK you have to park at the TTC and monorail or boat over to the park. Only Disney buses are allowed near the park entrance. If you arrive at a very crowded TTC later in the day you will have to take the tram over to the boat/monorail. This can be be a real hassle if you plan on staying until park closing. What we did on our last trip was to sit on a bench right across from the castle after Wishes and watched the throngs storm down Main Street to the park exits. After 20 minutes or so we slowly walked down a very quiet and empty Main Street to an equally peaceful bus station and back to our resort.

I can give you an idea of driving times from Windsor Hills. Animal Kingdom is the closest if you use Sherberth Rd. You can be in the parking lot in 5 or 6 minutes. For DHS it's just as easy to use 192 and World Dr. I would say about 7 or 8 minutes to the parking lot. Epcot would take about 10 - 12 minutes and Mk which is the longest would be about 15 minutes or so to the parking lot then another 10 - 15 from there until you're in the park. ( Shuttle from parking lot to TTC, monorail to entrance)
We've left all of the parks around noon and returned later in the day so the kids could have naps. It's no problem and sometimes when you return late in the day you can park closer because some of the guests have left.
I guess it all depends on the time of year you go and how busy it is.
