DH just came home with a bottle of raspberry vodka and a bottle of lime!! I'm so excited to try the lime....I adore all things lime...BudLight Lime, Mike's Hard Lime, lime jello, lime and salt popcorn...yumm!!

You can also flavor it yourself. Earlier in the summer we brewed our own pineapple vodka. Cut up fresh pineapple, and put it in a big glass container, and pour the vodka over it. Let it sit in fridge a couple of weeks. The longer the better. Keep stored in fridge.

This method will work with any fruit or other flavoring. I have a friend who makes bacon vodka for bloody marys. He gave me some and it was oh so so good.

I love egg nog and we usually serve mulled wine at parties, but my favorite Christmas drink is one I discovered at a bar near my house:

A Partridge in a Pear Tree
* 1½ oz pear vodka
* ½ oz lemon juice
* ½ oz simple syrup
* Champagne
* Rosemary, cut into 1½ inch sprigs


Rim martini glass with powdered sugar. Put a rosemary sprig in each glass. Combine vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake well, and strain over rosemary. Top with very cold champagne for a bit of fizz.

This is unbelievably good and incredibly refreshing. YUM!

Pink lemonade mixed with Smirnoff watermelon vodka. It also works pretty well with lime vodka or raspberry vodka, but watermelon vodka is by far the best.

Apple vodka and caramel Bailey's for a caramel apple martini...good but sweet.

My fav is vanilla vodka, cranberry juice and o.j. We drink these all summer at the pool.

Sorry to go OT, but isn't that lime popcorn delish!?! I can only find it in the mini bags though. That's not nearly enough!

Anyway, my latest favorite flavored vodka drink is Godiva chocolate vodka (it's a new product) with Bailey's and Kahlua, shaken with ice. Really good!

It is so good!! I love making people taste it because they think it's going to be gross and then they love it! I am making my lime spritz cookies today....got the recipe from C. Ann on here and made them last year. Yumm!! I can't get enough lime!

This godiva chocolate drink sounds good. Do you do equal parts chocolate vodka, baileys & kahlua?

Vanilla vodka with 7up. Yummy! Vodka is my favorite liquor. I like it with just seltzer. Although I can't remember the last time I actually had a drink. With 5 kids I need to be on my toes!

I was going to suggest this too. So simple but SO yummy!

It's not even noon and I want a drink! lol. These all sound delicious! I wasn't planning on buying any liquor for the holidays, but oh, what the heck.
