ETA: I forgot to mention that one night Norway was completely out of beer!

that is just unacceptable- maybe we should order a boycot until all stands promise to always have beer!

If any stand is going to be out of something, I would prefer it to be Norway actually. I can just go back to La Cava and get another margarita!

DH and I can definitely complete the drink around the world challenge during normal times of the year - but (for me at least), it's an all day 11 am to 10 pm quest. I need to pace myself.

We didn't even come close during F&W. We were there for a week last year and even after a week, we didn't have stamp from every kiosk in our passport!

We made our first stop in Mexico and my husband got the margarita and I got a daiquiri. We were the only ones in the bar at the time and there was left overs in my blender so the guy gave me the rest of it so I got 2 for 1. Sweet!!!! Well.....we took them to go and they started to melt quickly so needless to say I was buzzing really quick. They know how to mix those drinks in Mexico!!!

I finally did a full tour on our last trip.

My advice:

1. Be very careful if you're there during the really warm months. I failed my first two attempts because it was just too hot and I was done by the half-way mark.

2. As PPs have said, water and food is a very important part of Drinking Around the World.

3. Please use Disney transportation or a cab service, or have a DD. It would be very dangerous to do the tour and then have to drive.

This is the first adult trip in 10 years that I will be able to drink. In the past my medication limited me to 2 glasses of wine a month, so happy to be off that medicine.

I don't usually drink beer, maybe an occasional dark beer so I'm open for suggestions for what there is to drink around the countries.

Most people probably realize this, but I didn't! The World Showcase is not included in EMH. I had 2 countries to go on my last night, and they started shutting up some of the kiosks right at 9. I thought I still had 2 more hours to get everything done. Luckily, some of the places were still serving alcohol, but my choices were severely limited!

Unless things have changed recently, the Rose & Crown Pub stays open.
