Drinking around the resorts suggestion

I have an upcoming trip with a friend next week who has never been to Disney World. For one of our days, we planned to tour the resorts to look at all of the Christmas decorations. I was hoping to grab a signature "drink" at each resort as well. I'm looking for suggestions on your favorite drink or lounge visit at each resort that we can add on our to do list.

I did a monorail loop and got a drink at each deluxe resort near MK... I got a Manhattan at outer rim lounge in the CS, a Lapu Lapu ya Poly, and a generic drink at GF. I’d highly recommend the Lapu Lapu at Poly and any drink from the outer rim at CS, but I did this before the new Beauty and the Beast lounge was put in.... I’d definitely go there for one of their signature cocktails.

Sounds awesome! I have definitely had the Lapu Lapu and may be getting that one again. But I look forward to trying some of the new lounges and people watching!

Abracadbar on the Boardwalk is our favorite. Great bourbon and rye selection with many other specialty cocktails and great bartenders.

I’m a big fan of the backscratcher at the Polynesian. You can get it at tambu longe and perhaps trader sams as well. Lapu lapu is good as well, just a bit stronger alcohol taste to me. I believe their is a shot of 151 added to it. Either way a trip to drink around the resorts should include a stop at the Polynesian for sure!
