Drinking Around the Monorail???

We started doing this a few years ago. In fact this will be the 3rd official Monorail-Drink-A-Thon on September 26th. We usually lose a couple of people each year but then get new ones. The 1st year we started with the AK bar (I know, not officially a Monorail bar) and then we went to the Contempoary, the GF and ended at the Poly and everyone went to the Adventurers Club to finish the night. We were even given the title of LOTW (Lushes of the World)!! Anyone care to join us this year? If not, start your own, it's fun. Just be sure to let the server know you want separate checks right up front, they're okay with that. We even rearrange the chairs so we can all sit together. It's great fun!!

We did Tambu at the Poly, Mizner's at GF, Outer Rim (not this time I guess) at the Contemporary and Territory Lounge at the Wilderness Lodge. I'm just a beer drinker myself but I know someone had a Backscratcher at the Poly and also a Lapu Lapu and a Chocolate Martini but I forgot where..

OK heres the plan, in no particular order:

Polynesian: Tambu (2nd floor) or Barefoot Pool Bar
Grand Floridian: Mizner's (2nd floor) or pool bar (name?)
Contemporary: Wave bar??????????? (location/menu?)

Does the monorail leave you off on the 2nd floor of each resort?
Any particular drink @GF or Contemporary we should try? Lots of yummy tropical drinks available @Poly...thought I might try something more sophisticated @GF or Contemporary!

California Grille is the best place to start drinking around the monorail (dress nicely), then GF where we really loved the bar and really hated the people at the bar (weird /AP/ townies/ scary), finally the poly, because nothing finishes off a night like drinking something served in hollowed out fruit!
