Drink question

This is nto a place to argue the rules of refill mugs
my question is
are there refill mugs available to use in the parks or are the only ones are the resort only mugs.

I am a huge pop drinker and want to figure out if i will have to buy each drink i want at the parks or is there a better way to do it. with out using the resort only ones. I want legit ways not ways that work the system

We have special refillable mugs at the water parks. These have a special bar code on them which indicates the date sold. The drink machines will scan the bar code and dispense the correct amount of soda (of your choice) to fill that mug.

However, we also sell the bar codes alone for $5.00, so on a subsequent visit to a water park you only pay $5.00 for that day and use the same mug. And the mug is good at both water parks. They are different (and larger) than the ones in the Resorts.

you can bring a drink into the park, but the refillable mugs are only good at the resort.

From what I understand, for sanitation reasons WDW will no longer permit cast members to refill your drinks at food stations or bars. (at table service restaurants they can bring you another glass). You can do that only at standalone self-serve drink stations like the ones at the resorts. So, no refillables in the theme parks.

Actually they do have them at animal kingdom at some locations. They are not free refills but still a good deal. Hope this helps. I love soda too.

Not sure if this is widely known, but my and I bought a refillable mug from DAK during our trip this past February. It's more of a refillable sports bottle and way bigger than the resort mugs. I can't remember how much the mug cost (around $7 I think?) but we bought it at Pizzafari and it allowed for $.99 refills for the rest of our day (or maybe for the rest of our trip, I'm not sure. We were only in DAK for one day). It was well worth it! It's a pretty large bottle and we alternated between pink lemonade and diet coke. It was really hot that day, so we saved alot of money that we would have spent on multiple drinks. You could also get it refilled at every place in DAK that had a soda fountain so that was convenient as well.

I wish they offered this at every theme park! I would even pay for a mug for each separate theme park!

Thats what I thought from what i read. so I will have to buy each drink that kinda stinks I always get the refill cup at 6 flags its nice its like a dolar to refil
