Drink Prices being Reduced!

I heard that you can ask for cold water in a cup anywhere and they will give it to you. I plan on bringing a water bottle and keep filling it up. $2.00 is better then $2.50 but it is still to much.
It's only water!!!!!

I carry a water bottle on my backpack that I keep filled throughout the day. They don't like filling it for me but have no problem giving me a cup of ice. That doesn't make any sense since it costs them less to simply fill my bottle then it does to give me a cup which I'm going to throw away seconds later. Once I have the ice I can then can top the bottle off at any drinking fountain. --Well, some fountains, many don't have enough water pressure to so any good.

My girlfriend and I both found the water fountains absolutely disgusting - we just couldn't hack it! What we (read: I) ended up doing was buying lots of bottled water from a supermarket and leaving 4 bottles in a sink full of ice overnight - that kept us going pretty well, although we (read: I) did get a little bit exhausted hauling all that water about...

I guess one advantage to living in Jersey is that the water in WDW taste fine. At the water fountains the trick is to let it run for about 30 seconds or so to let the stale, warm water go down the drain.

Occasionally I'd pay the $2.50 for a Coke, but I'll never pay $2.50, or even $2.00, for a bottle of water when there are water fountains readily availible.

Will someone let me know when the drink prices drop at Pleasure Island? *wink* Now THAT would be awesome. For those of us who enjoy a couple of cocktails in the evening....it's easy to drop a hundred dollars there. Yikes!

I'm with you. I don't mind spending $2 on H2O but paying $7 for a beer just about kills me.
