Drink containers?

What do you carry drinks around in? Can my daughters use their own mugs or water bottles to get drinks or is this frowned upon? Just trying to decide if we should bring mugs/cups/water bottles or nothing at all. Thanks in advance!

You certainly may bring your own drink containers (cups, water bottles, whatever) for use onboard. However, DCL does ask that you use their cups at the drink station to fill your personal container (that is, fill one of their cups, pour it into your container). I usually have an insulated cup for making tea in, and a personal, refillable water bottle that I carry. Although it also means I have to wash my insulated cup.

We got new ones for Christmas with this in mind. From what Ive read, lot of people bring cups on board and carry them around

My DH bought a drink at the Sail Away party and refilled the glass it came in throughout the week. It was one less thing we had to bring with us and made a great souvenir when we got home.

We bring Tervis tumblers.

We bought a tervis tumbler on the first day of our Dream cruise last year. It has the Aquaduck on it! I used it for the rest of the trip. It is my favorite souvenir! Still love using it.
