Has anyone ever purchased a foldable drink/beverage carrier for their cruise? I have been searching for months and cannot find anything at all! I have seen the duct tape on the cardboard carriers from Chik Fil A but unfortunately none of the fast food restaurants in our area have that type of carrier. I really wanted something foldable and plastic so it could be reused..any ideas????

I had looked at a few carriers like that and honestly I don't know if they would work or not. I know they are meant to hold sports/water bottles so I am not sure if the DCL cups would fit in them. If anyone has advice or has tried something else I would love to hear it!!

We have CFA, but I too have been hoping to find something a bit more durable. I have yet to find anything either. Carrying 3-4 drinks at a time would be so much easier with a carrier. Heck I would even pay Disney prices for one if they sold one.

Rather than a carrier an alternative we used was to ask in Cabanas for a try's, they have them in there, and then use that yo get drinks for the family we might get two each so eight for our room.

I picked up a couple of those molded cardboard carriers from McDonald's to bring along.

That is the closest I've seen yet to what I'm looking for. I did find another hard plastic folding model on Amazon over the summer but it also had terrible reviews and was discontinued. It seems like such an easy idea-I don't understand why its impossible to find!!

We have only been on one DCL cruise on the Wonder. Can any frequent cruisers guess at the cup sizes on the Dream? I have seen a few totes that hold water/beer bottles but I think they may be too slim for the DCL cups m:confused3

yup, the cardboard ones from the coffee houses/mcdonalds/any quick service anywhere.
you can just toss them when your done and not have to repack them to take home plus (bonus) there free. i pack a few of them.

Jenhelgren, if you want one from CFA, I will go there and get one for you and mail it to you. :thumbsup2 I would be happy to do this for another kind DISer. :) Feel free to PM me if you'd like one. If not, don't feel bad at all!

I decorated one with duct tape for our cruise last October on the Wonder. I did use the carrier with four drinks. I just placed my free hand under it as I was carrying it for extra support. I think it would have been fine without doing so, but I didn't want to chance it!

As a woman walked past me she said to her friend "See! Look at that! Some people on this cruise sure do have a lot of tips and tricks!".:cool1:

Did the ones from CFA work well with the short cups?

I agree with the ones from somewhere like McDonalds. Just start collecting and throw away. I would prefer that over a tray and at the end of the cruise they can be tossed and room made for souvenirs.
