Day 7
Along Came Poly
Monday, August 16th
I woke up at around 8:15, showered, woke my friend up, he showered, and we left for Emack & Bolios at 8:55 to meet Henry. He showed up at about 9 with his sister, Poly. My first impression was "Whoa, Jackpot!" So we made our way to IOA with them, me and my friend both directing our attention to her lol. It came clear to me, that this time, it was going to be survival of the funniest, seeing how she was cracking up at everything we said.
So we made our way into IOA at around 9:10, and went to Marvel. I went on Hulk, only because she was going on, obviously, otherwise I hate that ride. We had an ok time, atleast I did, they all loved it. Next we did Doom, which was funny..
We started talking about something, and she leaned over looking down at us, telling us something, and zoom! we went upwards lol. We had a good laugh after.
Next we took em on Spiderman, saying prepare for one of the greatest rides ever. funny thing tho.
We ran too close to the car infront of us.. and the screens were resetting everytime, meaning we had no Visuals, but Audio and Movement. We told them to hold thier ears so it didnt ruin the next ride. We got off, and the guy at the Unload said just go through the Baby swap, and they will get us on the next one out. So we did, and they absoultley loved it. Great time on Spiderman
We made our way into Toon Lagoon, and decided to cool off on some water rides
We did Popeye, which as always, was great. Weird thing tho, None of the water effects or Moving animatronics worked.. Like the water fall in that cave with the Octopus, or the water and bubbles on the lift etc.
Next we went over to Dudley, and thats when the competition for Poly started to heat up. Me and my friend going back and forth getting this girl to crack up, then I realized, My friend has a girlfriend, so whats he doing hitting on her? So after a great ride on Dudley, we went to JP and rode the River Adventure, which was fun as usual..
We went to Lost Continent rode DD, both Fire and Ice. I like Ice better.. 9/10, Fire gets 8.5/10, I dont feel like reviewing them..
After that we made our way back to HRH, for a afternoon Swim, where we met even more cool people..
We went down, rented a football to throw around in the pool, and we had some fun, Henry and Poly came down about 30 minutes later, and we were just tossing around, and then this guy came over and asked if he can throw around cause hes bored out of his mind, so we said sure. He ended up being from Yonkers, which is pretty close to here, and we all hit it off. Hes in a band, Rot In Pain, who were here for a week, handing out Demos and such at Machinehead shows and the Sum41 show at HRL, We met his brother too who was really cool. The guy we met was Frank, and his brother Anthony, and we all started throwing the football around. Eventually we just started chatting and he was telling Henry and Poly our Sexual Slang that they may not know, some of which I never heard of, which were really gross, lol. So we started calling Him frank the tank, in honor of Will Ferrels character in Old School, and he gave us what became one of the quotes of the trip.. In the end of Old School, when Will Ferrel gets the tape, and thinks hes dying, and says I see Blue, He looks glorious! Its so stupid, yet funny. Our other quote of the trip was from family guy, when they did the Black-U-Weather forecast on the news lol. Its Gon Rain! So we all changed, and headed to USF. We went to MIB first, and I claimed Poly as Lady luck, and every time she sat next to me 999,999. Isnt that weird? Lol. Next we went to Jaws, which was fun as usual, and we had a skipper that actually interacted with us, which is always cool. Next we did ROTM a few times, and we made our way out of the park, me and my friend heading to meet my mom at Margaritaville, while Henry and Poly made it back to HRH. We told them we would meet them at the Pool at 930.
We ate at MargaritaVille which was ok, and made our way back to the HRH, got changed and went to the pool. We met them, hung out and then just chilled in the beach chairs till 12, then went to the elevators on the 5th floor, and hung out untill 1, and went away to sleep. We decided to meet tmw at 10.
Thats it for day 7,
