How many of the little girls that go to the breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table wear those princess type dresses? I've seen a lot of pictures of little girls wearing them. Should I plan on packing my daughter's dress - would she feel more out of place wearin git or not wearing it?

Thanks!

Although there are some girls dressed in costumes, we have never done it. Its just too much of a hassle for me to worry about packing costumes for my 2 girls:crazy: I figure I have enough to worry about! Also depenfding on the time of year, the costumes can be just too hot and cumbersome. JMHO

My DD is one of those kids that insists on dressing up. So much so, that we bought 4 of her costumes last time, basically an entire kid suitcase, with all the accessories. She wore Cinderella when we ate breakfast, wore Minnie Mouse at Chef Mickey's, wore Tinkerbell for the fireworks, and Snow White never made it out though!! This year, she's getting Sleeping Beauty to add to her collection at World of Disney. So, it will be interesting what she brings down when we pack!!!

I think my dd loves going to the breakfasts so she can dress up. It's really no problem, I take a change of clothes and she changes after breakfast. It easily fits in a jumbo ziploc squished on the bottom basket of her stroller.

As you can see from the photo below she loves to dress up. That was taken on our way to CRTs. She likes to wear them around the house too, but what better place to wear them out than to a breakfast with the princesses themselves!!:p:p

My daughter has dressed two of the four times we've eaten there. The latter two being the last. She has a ball seeing "her" princess while she's dressed just like her. It's worth the hassle for the photo op alone - never mind the priceless memories!!

I got my DD a Cinderella dress and crown at the Disney Store (50% off, woo hoo!)....and I plan on giving it to her as a surprise on the morning of our breakfast at CRT. I'm so excited...I can't wait! :D

DD wore her Snow White costume when we were there in January. She got a lot of attention not only from the princesses, but from other CMs during the day. That afternoon we got some adorable pictures of her and Dopey, who was haming it up for the camera!

My DD is another who loved dressing up at CRT for breakfast. She loved it so much that after breakfast she refused to change. It was a hot June day and she wore her Cinderella gown ALL day. With all the attention she got you can't really blame her. Mickey got down on one knee and kissed her hand, all the CM's went nuts over her, it was really cute and well worth the hassle of lugging around that extra short set. Have fun.

I say go for it- my little boy got a Peter Pan suit at WDW last year and wore it down to breakfast at the AKL the next morning. We had to practically surgically remove that suit from him:rolleyes:

He had a real blast racing down the corridors of the AKL pretending to fly like Peter Pan and he got a lot of attention from CM's and passersby. If your daughter likes the attention, then let her wear the dress!

There will be some kids dressed up, but they seem to be the minority (although not out of place).

Instead of carting along the entire costume I've seen it suggested that the crown/wand is easier to pack and then stash away after breakfast. Those dresses can get really hot during those hot Florida days.

My kids have not dressed in costume.

But I do buy them new disney clothes. We have princess t-shirts, for the princess meals. Pooh, for Crystal Palace. You get the idea.

The kids in costume were aborable, at the start of the day, but by the busride home, looked miserable. I would definately take a change of clothes
