Dressing Up for 24hour Event

We will be going to the 24 hour event in Disney World. I have seen on some Disney information sites and some forums people talking about dressing in costumes for the 24 hour event. Is this allowed? I know that unless its the Halloween Party its not allowed for adults but since its a special event does anyone know if they will be allowing it to dress as your favorite hero or villian.

Yes, all guests are allowed to wear costumes to the 24 hour event. The theme is heroes and villains.
