Dressing up for 1900 Park Fare?

Some girls dress up like other princesses as well

My 2 daughters both dressed up last October when we went there. The oldest one felt a little embarrassed when she saw another girl (not dressed in costume) staring at her. I told her don't worry and have fun! The funny part is- once inside the little girl had her mother run to the GF gift shop and buy her a costume. Needless to say my daughter was happy to have hers already.

It was a wonderful night there. I hope you enjoy it!

When we went in Sept, there were alot of littl girls dressed the part and some little boys were dressed as Prince Charming!!! DD2 HATES the dressy dresses so Nana made her a Cindy dress out of Cinderella peint material but without all the lace and itchy stuff!!

I heard the 5 fairies might start to show up at 1900 park fair replacing Mary P.

Well, we'll be dressed up in a wedding gown and tuxes in May as we're having dinner there after our vow renewal!

Maybe I'm not remembering Cinderella that well. Who are the 5 fairies (I remember 3 fairies from Sleeping Beauty)?

Do girls dress up like Cindy for this character meal?

My DD5 didn't dress up as Cinderella but she did make sure to wear her thick blue headband. Cinderella did comment that the 2 of them were wearing matching headbands. It was cute and rather surprising (and alot cheaper). :goodvibes

When we went to 1900 in May, all of the little girls present seemed to be dressed in princess dresses. Many also were carrying their princess dolls. My dd (2 1/2 at the time) wore her Cinderella dress. All of the characters and CM's took notice of this. She LOVED all of the extra attention!! What a wonderful experience!

DD will wear her Belle dress here. Was planning on wearing it at CRT but didn't even think of 1900 Park Fare. Glad I saw this thread :)

Last year about this time my (then 6 yo) dd dressed as Aurora for CRT breakfast. She got a lot of attention from Princesss Aurora which resulted in a beautiful memory for dd and myself as well several very pictures. Princess Aurora told dd "you look like my little sister." It made both Sonja's and my experience so lovely. Will we do this again when we go next year when dd is 8? Yes, if dd wants to and if I can get the ps, adr or whatever they are called now then. I probably would get them first, tell her and see if she wants to then if not just cancel.
