I received the DCL vacation DVD in the mail yesterday. When they show Triton's the majority of the men are not wearing jackets or ties. They did have a nice shirt and slacks on. My DH is not too happy about having to wear a coat or tie. What's up with the DVD.

Generally, the Wonder cruises are more casual. They are 3 or 4 day, and it is very common to see men in the restaurants without a coat or tie. If your husband doesn't want to dress up, he won't be out of place. My DH did wear a tie to Tritons, but he didn't take a suit. I think he had a jacket, but it was kind of warm that night so he didn't wear it.

At Tritons on the 4 day Wonder, probably 40% of the men are in coat and tie. Your husband does not NEED to wear and coat and tie (but if it makes you happy, and he looks handsom, and the kids are in the club for the night, you might make it worth his while.......)

On the 3 and 4 night cruise there are no 'formal' nights, so some people use their night at Tritons as a time to dress up. Not everyone does this (my husband puts on a tie, but won't be dragging a jacket with him this time like on the 7 night).

If you want to dress up, you won't be alone. But if you don't want to get too dress up (slacks, shirt and tie) you won't be alone either.
