Dressing for a morning wedding? Pic.

I am going to a wedding at 11am this Saturday. I am worried the outfit I picked out is more for an evening wedding. Can I get some opinions?

I am wearing this top with cream dress slacks and black heals. The cream 'belt' ties in a bow in the back.

Is this ok for a morning wedding?

I think it would be ok with cream slacks. If you were talking about black slacks I would say that is definitely more evening attire. But, I think the cream dresses it down a tad.

I don't think that one needs to worry about dressing it down for a morning wedding. Weddings are still formal affairs and black slacks would not be too dressy. Most guests chose to wear cocktail length dresses for a morning wedding but I have seen floor length dresses also.

The top is pretty, but I think I would go with black slacks. Not a big fan of ligheter on the bottom.

Thanks eveyone, I feel better now. I hate going somewhere and feeling paranoid about what you are wearing.

And I really only know the bride, I didn't want to show up overdressed and have everyone wonder who the heck I think I am. Not that anyone is really going to be paying attention to me.
