Does anyone know if they have dress up costumes in the Oceaneers' Club. DD loved to play dress up two years ago. Unfortunately, last year due to the Norwalk virus the costumes were removed. Have the costumes returned?

did not see any costumes in the clubs but did see alot of little girls that brought their own costumes and wore them to dinner on the formal and semi formal nights and also to pose with the princesses. I hopefully will be able to bring a costume for my DD's on our next cruise. You can also buy them on the ship. the ones I saw ran about $50. The tiaras and shoes are extra.

I don't remember see any either. DD never mentioned it. They are very diligent about lessening the spread of the virus, so they may never have re-introduced the costumes.

On our August 31 to Sept 4th Wonder cruise they had them. Both my son and daughter loved playing dress up!

The costumes would not be a very good environment for Norwalk, but is an excellent media for the transmission of lice.

I was just thinking about that, after a bout when DD#1 was 4 and picked them up at preschool or her sitter's. What a nightmare! We are vigilant about sharing hats, combs, brushes, etc. to the point where DD#2 balked the other night at using Grandma's brush (Grandma said "we don't have bugs!!!")
I saw a boy on a commercial with a Peter Pan costume. DS has the same costume and I may take it for their "so you want to be a pirate" activity, although DH is just rolling his eyes at that thought.

Minniemouse1,

I read that you were thinking about buying a costume while on board for your DD, may be this could save you some money.

I noticed at Walmart in the toy section where the Barbie dolls are sold, they had the cuties childrens' Snowwhite, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty costumes for $19.99. Size read ages 3 and up. This did not include tiara or shoes. I’ve noticed a few time while visiting the parks you’ll see little girls all dressed up in their costumes, they look so precious.
