how much does it cost to have someone come to your room and steam your dress? what if you are not renting tuxes from them?

also is that something you could do a couple days before rather than the day of?

it never occured to me that i would need my dress steamed!!!

thanks!

:)

mine was like $60 & it needed it after the trip down. it was very convinient & i didnt even notice she was there & gone from my room. i would do it the day of or night before so you dont have any last minute wrinkles. i used carolyn allen.

I am having my dress steamed by Carolyn Allen's. Here is an email they sent me once I booked the appointment:

"The price of your bridal gown steaming is $65, and this price includes a veil and a small wrap. Silk, Taffeta or any fabric that needs pressing is $85-$100, this is determined at the steaming/pressing service. Larger items, such as capes and crinolines (slips), are considered additional items. Additional items, dresses, and tuxedos are $15 each. "

My Wife used Carolyn ALlen and she said that they were very good. Very prompt and professional.
I think (dont quote me) that it was about $60 for the first item then $40 for each item there-after.
