Dress Steaming-Carolyn Allen?

I know a lot of you guys have had your dress steamed by Carolyn Allen. Well, I called today, and they told me Carolyn Allen is no longer working for them?? Has anyone heard this? Should I just go with the woman they recommended at the Carolyn Allen store?

That is strange- I hadn't heard that. A woman from CA's did my dress steaming (wasn't Carolyn Allen herself) and she did a wonderful job. She even helped sew one of the bridesmaid's dresses (it was falling off of her)! I can't remember her name, but her daughter works there as well.

Oh, I just had my steaming done by Carolyn Allen's but Sue did mine and she was great!

Yes! It was Sue who did our wedding! Again, she did a great job!

Thats crazy to me... Carolyn herself did ours. Didnt she own the company? Hmm.. must have sold out or retired! I would probobly just go with whoever they recommend.

Carolyn did mine too... That is strange. Does that company not do steaming anymore?
