What is the typical dress for Palo's brunch?

I wore a collared tank top and a pair of nice black trousers and some sandals and felt fine. I think as long as you don't wear shorts or jeans but wear a nice sundress, or slacks and nice shirt you will be fine.

I wore a sundress with sandals. Dh wore Dockers, shirt and Topsider shoes. Saw women in crop/capri pants and men in Dockers and polo shirts. HTH

Wear something reasonably smart, but LOOSE! You will need the extra room after eating all that Yummy food!Nat:Pinkbounc

Good question.....also, how about for men? Thanks.

I wore Dockers and a polo shirt. Did see one gentleman with a sport coat on, but he was definitly the exception.

Though I wore a slinky dress and my husband wore khakis and a polo with sandals, there were at least two men in shorts and a couple of ladies in dress shorts. I was suprised by it, but not offended in any way. If we'd have known they would have let my husband in in dress shorts, he definitly would have gone that route. Definitely nothing dressy, pretty casual for the most part.

We followed the recommended jacket and tie for dh and I wore a skirt (nothing fancy-just nice).

I was surprised at how casual others were. Some were wearing more "beach like" attire-shorts, t-shirts etc.

I think the dress for the brunch should be dressy casual. Such as, for the guys, khaki pants and a polo. Ladies have it much easier than the guys in this case. A summer dress with sandals covers a lot of "recommended" attire.

I feel this way for the brunch but not for the dinner. Pretty much everyone is semi dressed up for dinner everywhere on the ship and it is in the evening with a show.

When it is mid morning, most people will be dressing for a casual day on board. So,with the jacket requirement, those that follow the rule seemed way over dressed when there are others way to casual.

If there was a happy medium for brunch, I think more people would follow.

DH didn't mind being dressed up. We are rule followers. Plus, how many times do we get to go to such an awesome restuarant?

The suggested dress for Palo brunch is "resort casual," or at least has been for all of our trips. I basically dress how I would for dinner in one of the regular dining rooms, khakis and a hawaiian shirt or a golf shirt.

The "jacket recommended" dress suggestion is for dinner at Palo.
