Dress code?

yeah get this..

We have a "dress code"

The principal apparently had a "REALLY STRICT DRESS CODE" in the handbook but in reality, I saw more girls butts this year than I wanted to see in my lifetime. The skirts. I wanted to hurl. It was the most immodest, unflattering, *beep*...*beep*...*(!&#*(&!...*beep*.. and the guy did absolutely NOTHING about it. And it not like he didn't see it! He saw it all!

IF YA GET WHAT I MEAN.

*WINK* The guy got fired. We get a woman this year. I hope they make all those.. *beep* cover themselves and stop making me nauseus.

I wear pants pretty much everyday, so a shorts dresscode really wouldn't bother me. And usually the only skin you see on me is my face. But I can see how it would bother some people.
He's a guy. If he's getting THAT, then I doubt he would say something. :rotfl:

:rotfl: I know.

And we were all convinced that he liked little boys better than little girls. But that definitely wasn't the case, I guess. Dude, the guy was such a creep. I wanted to punch him in the face so hard. He needs to go chill with Michael Jackson.

Consequences

At the beginning of the 2005-2006 school year if a student violates the dress code s/he will be given a warning by school staff. School staff will notify school administrators with the student's name. School administrators will notify parent/legal guardian of the warning. The student must correct the clothing violation at that time, prior to returning to his/her class schedule. Refusal to change clothes will constitute insubordination. After the first five school days of the 2005-2006 school year, the warning system will be terminated and the following sequential and progressive discipline plan will be followed:

First Offense

• Parent notified
• Student must change clothing violation
• Student assigned detention
• Student warned of consequences for second violation
• Consequence/conference entered in student discipline documentation

Second Offense

• Parent notified
• Student must change clothing violation
• In-school suspension, Saturday school, work crew, or multiple detentions assigned, depending on the consequence available at school site
• Student warned of consequence for third offense
• Consequence/conference entered in student discipline documentation

Third Offense

• Parent notified
• Student must change clothing violation
• Out-of-school suspension assigned
• Warned that any further violations will result in multiple days of suspension
• Consequence/conference entered in student discipline documentation

I don't know how they are going to keep track of everything though. :confused3

I go to a public school, with a seriously strict dresscode. I have friends in private school who are shocked at my dresscode!!

:teeth: I go to an ALL GIRLS PRIVATE CATHOLIC COLLEGE-PREP School.

Sounds wicked strict.........................?

USED TO BE!!!!! :goodvibes

Nowadays we are allowed to wear almost ANYTHING. Skirts are not supposed to be TOO short...but most of the girls wear minis neways. ANY headwear AND footwear is fine. No "spaghetti straps" or "midrifts"....but if you're not caught, girls wear 'em anyways. Pajama pants are a MUST...99% of the time you see girls walking around in sweatshirts and either jeans, sweat pants, or pj pants. That actually bugs me sometimes, cuz I like to look nice for school. I'll admit though, I've become more lax over the past year...wearing pj pants to school more frequently.

Ok...sorry that was kinda long.

They are becoming so strict with the dress code in my district that I would like it if they made us were uniforms. It would be a lot easier and you wouldn't have to spend so much time thinking about what you were going to were to school.

UGH you know what my old principal wouldn't allow?!?!?!

Eyeliner tears. I wanted to shoot him. He wouldn't even let little sirls around your eyes. Or anything. He threatened to suspend someone I know if she didn't wash it off in the bathroom. It's not even that distracting.

He'll prevent eyeliner tears but not mini-skirts?! Do I see a DISCRIMINATION factor, here?

NO! No uniforms!!!!! No uniforms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a private school we have a major dress code

uniform skirts can be about 2" above knee (which no on listens too some of the girls wear em WAY high) no hoodies, have to wear a belf if wearing shorts or pants(or get conduct points off gr) socks can't be below ankle, tennis shoes must be white no other color allowed(except on gym days),no bracelets, girls are only allowed 2 rings, knee-highs must be white or blue, no highlights or dying hair, boys hair can't be below nape of the neck and can't be below eyebrows, um what else oh yea for gym you must have red shorts and a white shirt nothing else allowed i think thats it

i go to a catholic school ,so we wear uniforms.
last year, our school changed from a skirt to culottes (short like thingys) b/c the girls were wearing the skirts too short, but of course, everybody just rolls up the culottes too. (like everyone else said, i've seen way too much than i care to see). i hope the new principal that we got last year will "crack down". with the culottes we have to wear a uniform blouse with the school logo, in white, pink, yellow, or blue. we have to wear dress shoes wit hclosed toe and back, so our only expression is the knee socks that we choose. it's really not that bad! :)

but we also have days called "dress down day" or "jeans day" and we are allowed to wear what we like. but those are usually on party days or half days. at my old school, if you wanted to dress down on those special days, yoou had to buy a jean's pass a few days in advance of the jeans day so you could hand that in. the principal wrote our names on them and the grade. i thought that was a good idea, so people who didnt pay, couldnt dress down. (yea, you even had to pay for it)

I go to a Catholic high school, and we have to pay to wear casual clothes on dress-down days as well. Even though they do keep track of who does pay, there are still people who don't pay and wear casual clothes anyway, and get away with it! For our uniform, in Sept., beginning of Oct, and mid-April-June, we have to wear maroon polo shirts. The rest of the months we have to wear a maroon sweater. If it's cold out, we can wear school sweatshirts over our polos/sweaters. Girls can wear either a plaid or khaki skirt, guys wear khaki pants. Of course, there are girls who wear their skirts way too short. They're starting something new this year: everyone has to wear the same type of shoes, which sucks, because it's my last year and they're really expensive.

My old school no.... but my new school YES we can't wear really short shorts and if we wear skirts we have to wear skrits below the knee and more but I don't feel like typing

We have a uniform. Everybody else wears a polo with the logo, and khaki pants. No extensive jewelry, no extensiv makeup,, no extensove hair styles. We are allowed to wear shorts. I, on the other hand, chose to wear the alternative...

-White button-up dress shirt with logo...
-Blue, black, and brown striped tie...
-Blue, grey, white plaid headband...
-Navy knee-length skirt...
-Black shorts under my skirt that say 'Fanservice' ont he back incase my skirt flies up... :rotfl:
-Navy knee highs...
-Black kitty Mary Janes

The look I was trying to convey was that of Yukino from the manga and anime Kare Kano (His and Her Circumstances), and I manage to look a bit like her...cept the fact that I have glasses. XD

To be honest, I LOVE uniforms...I like the school girl look. ^_^

im with you...i love the look and i want uniforms XD love to fanservice!

I go to public school and we have a uniform.
*Strictly no trainers. Just black school shoes
*Black trousers or skirt, I think skirts aren't meant to be to short but that rule isn't really enforced
*White shirt or polo shirt. You can wear a top under your normal shirt if you want to as long as it's white
*Burgundy jumper with the school logo on

We have non-school uniform days when anything goes. And we have fancy dress days too sometimes, they're really fun.

I wish they had this no undergarments rule at our school that some of you have. I saw more thongs last year than I care to remember.
