For the Cal. Grill or Ohana's are park clothes a little too casual..should we change first ? is it like Khakis / nice polo or woven shirt for men, nice pants for women or more dressed up than that ? how about Boma's? we were planning on that straight fromAK. thanks.

For the Ca. Grill I believe dress is more dressy casual then theme park casual. For Ohana's I'm not exactly sure although I know it's not dressy. Same goes for Boma.

At the Calif Grille, there is no required dress code, but folks tend to dress a bit upscale. A nice pair of pants and collared shirt for men would be fine and a casual dress or pants outfit for the women would work.

At Boma and Ohana, you see all kinds of dress. From shorts and tees to office casual day clothes, you couldn't go wrong.

I don't know about California Grill but Ohanas is definitely casual. When we were there I didn't see anyone that was remotely dressed up. Everyone was in theme park wear like t-shirts and shorts. It is very casual there and the food is delicious! We are going to be eating there again in 16 days!

How about dress code for Flying Fish? We're headed there in October.

For California Grill I think they say no swimsuits (!) and no tank tops for men. The others don't have a dress code that I know about - park clothes are okay - but swimsuits would probably not be a good idea.

Except for V&A, there is no dress requirement at any WDW restaurant other then no tank tops and no bathing suits.
Any other dress code would be one that you would impose on yourself....

We have been in CA Grill from everything to shorts/tees/tennies to dress clothes. We never felt out of place once.

Ohana's, we have always been in park clothes when we go there.

I think CG is the restaurant where I see the widest array of attire. Last Dec. we even saw lots of folks in blue jeans obviously straight from the parks. Shorts, khakis, dresses, suits...we've seen the range. We've even seen teens dressed for what I assumed was a dance....long dresses and tuxes (I think). Dress as you please and you'll be fine...as long as it's not a swimsuit.:D

They do tell you when you make reservations at Shula's that there is a dress code-They call it business casual. I don't know what that means exactly because I don't do "business" on vacation and am not going to dress like it, so I'm not sure what we're going to wear.

well I had planned on wearing a swim suit but guess I'll have to scrap that idea(lol) I thought Business Casual was basically "nicer then jeans but not a suit", like Dockers and a woven collared shirt for men, nicer pants and shirt/ sweater type thing or casual dress for women but I could be and frequently am wrong! I might dress up a little ( no tevas lol) just because it is our "big "night. and I don't think we'll be going into the parks afterwards depending on when we go.

Im with Pnelson !! Stand up to the man!!! I just refuse to dress like that while at Disney. I guess because thats how I have to dress everyday at work. I guess to each his own. I know some people like to dress up for dinner, but when I go to Disney, no way. Fight the power!!!

We always go to Boma's from the AK. I store polo shirts, jeans/nice shorts, and casual shoes (not park Tevas) in a locker at the front. We then change in the restrooms before catching the AKL bus. We carry the clothes in a backpack.

The guards at the front seemed very familiar with a change of clothes/shoes/

We dress the same for O'hanna - Polo Shirt nice jeans/shorts.
For April we are thinking about Hawaii Shrits (my DD has a nice
dress that a friend bought her in Hawaii). We did O'Hanna after
a wterpark day so we changed at the hotel (POFQ) before heading out.

People dressed in tee shirts/cut-offs aeem out of place in both locations.

We have never eaten at the California Grill.

We tend to clean ourselves up, nice pants collared shirt, when we go to: Artist Point, Caliornia Grill, Flying Fish, Jiko, GF restaurants, Yachtman's Steakhouse. For everything else, we're pretty much park casual.

Not sure about the Shula's at WDW, but other Shula's are strict with their "Business Casual" policy. I was recently in Philadelphia for work. A few co-workers and I went there for dinner, we'd been several times in the past. The hostess said we'd have to sit in the bar because they were a "business casual" restaurant. I'd just come from my "business casual" office wearing what I think is generally considered business casual attaire (khaki's and a wool sweater). Needless to say, we didn't eat there and now I am hesitant to try the one at WDW again (though I swear I wore khaki's and a cotton shirt to that one!). So, if Shula's is in your plans, get them to clarify their policy (I was too mad to bother!!)

Park attire is fine for 'Ohana and Boma. I would probably wear something a little nicer for CA Grill, but that's just a personal preference. Wear whatever you're comfortable in.
