We are leaving this weekend for our trip to Disney!! It just dawned on me that I should check to see if there is any dress codes at any of the Disney restaurants that we have PS's for.

Liberty Tree Tavern
Portobello's Yacht Club
California Grille
Le Cellier
Hollywood & Vine
Hoop-Dee-Doo Review

Thanks!

No dress code that I'm aware of, and we've eaten at each of those except Portobello Yacht Club. California Grill is a more upscale restaurant and many people choose to do dressy casual, but you will also see guests in shorts (straight from the parks) and some dressier eveningwear.
Have a great trip!

The only dress codes are for V&A at the GF. Sport coat and tie for men and nice outfit for women. All other dinning park atire is appropiate. Cali grill is a little bit more upscale I have seen both park ware and dress clothes. But either is fine.

Have a great trip.

When I made my ps for California Grill the CM said it was "smart casual" and specifically mentioned no tank tops I think.

Yes, CG does say "no tank tops".

V&A requires a jacket for men but not a tie. However, 99.9% of the gentlemen wear one.

Bistro de Paris also says no tank tops.

If that's so, then it's rather new and/or sporadically enforced. We had a great meal at BdP but were disappointed to see a patron in her bikini top. It's bad enough in the parks, but at a nice-ish meal we found it quite distasteful. But what are you going to do? Some people feel that because they *can* do something, it means they *should* do it.

It's probably not enforced at all. I was told "no tank tops" when I made the PS for our visit last May, so we were sure to comply. But being in a theme park, it probably is just too hard to enforce.

I honestly don't have a problem with tank tops, bikinis, etc, either in the parks or in the restaurants. While we personally will follow the dress code, if somebody else doesn't, that's between them and, in this case, Disney. If bikinis or tank tops aren't against the code, I can't really blame the guest anyway.
