Dress Code - Flip Flops!!!!!

I'm planning on booking some signature restaurants for this August and have been reading about the dress codes. I know it says no flip flops but I wasn't planning on bringing any shoes with me just for going out to dinner.
Would I be ok wearing these......

along with smart/casual shirt and shorts?
Dont want to get turned away if there not allowed.

My DH wore a sandal similar to Jiko's and nothing was said. IF you wear nice shorts and polo type shirt or just shirt w/collar & the shorts you should be fine.

I say OK!! (unless you have REALLY ugly or dirty tootsies!) I have worn nice flip flops with a cute dress. I think it is your over all appearence that matters most.
