We are going on the Repo. Cruise in 3 weeks. We have 2 formal and 2 semi formal nights. We will be eating @ Palo's 2 times for Dinner. The folks going on the cruise with us say you should wear a jacket @ Palo's. I read somewhere that a man could wear a dress shirt and tie and no jacket. For those of you who have cruised recently what is the attire for men during dinner? Did anyone wear just a shirt and tie? 2 more nights in a jacket might send DH overboard!

The dress code used to be "Jacket required". But they relaxed the codes a bit and not it's only dress shirt required. I dont think you even need a tie....anyone..correct me if i'm wrong please :)

As for brunches...I think a pair of khakis and a polo shirt is good.

We are on the same cruise!

The new Palo dress code is, nice pants and a buttoned/collared dress shirt. No tie or jacket required. No Tommy Bahama style shirts accepted.

This is excellent and most everyone is dressing this way now. What a relief not to have to have the jacket with, especially for that cruise. A very hot and humid one..lol.

Enjoy your cruise..we certainly enjoyed bringing the Magic to you!

Sounding good so far! We were going to go out and by another jacket, but it sounds like we might not have to.

I am bumping this up for any other cruisers who might have some current imput.

That's pretty much it, in a nutshell, for ladies it remains pretty much the same.

We just got off the ship. Believe me..the mens attire I reported is 100% correct.

If you scroll down on this page, there are two notices about the dress codes. The second one is specific to Palo. :flower:
