Dress attire at California Grill?

Jeans and dress shorts are perfectly acceptable.

I think you will be fine. I don't understand all the fuss about shorts vs pants. Disney clearly states that you are allowed to wear nice shorts or jeans for that matter. So, don't worry about it. Flordia is very hot at certain times of the year especially if you are from the north-east. My family would all think I'd gone crazy if I told them they had to wear pants to dinner in July at Calif Grill!

I too have seen many people at signature restaurants clearly not following the dress code. However, wearing pants is not part of the dress code. Your shirt and shorts sound perfectly fine.

Wear what you want. If the patrons in the resturant dont like it thats their business. Your on vacation. Unless you are going to Vic&Alberts, I say wear what you want. I have worn shorts and T-shirts to Cali Grill many times. They wont kick you out. They wont even say a word to you. Unless you are looking like a slob with ripped shorts, wet bathing suit, etc you wont have any issue at all.

I was wondering if I could wear my Tommy Bahama shirt and shorts to dinner at California Grill

Pretty one dimensional here in the clothing dept and TB is about the only thing I have in my wardrobe.Well worth the price of admission imho. Like Uncleromulus and a few others said dress shorts are fine. RELAX
